Yun were born in the far east, and grew up poor as can be, constantly fighting diseases and hunger with her family. Once, she encountered an opportunity to earn money for her family, and so without greater thought, she seized it, and allowed herself to be smuggled into Yharnam to live a happier life and earn wealth, or so she thought, for she had been tricked and forced to become a whore at the low age of 14. Years of vices and regrets passed, she slowly attained a blood addiction, and after a while she got used to this horrible and uncertain lifestyle, but that would soon come to change. One fateful night, when the streets were filled with blood and beasts, the men who kept Yun and other women as prostitutes turned into beast and slaughtered the whores, but three stood against the fiends, and one of them was Yun. For most, fighting for survival against abominable beasts are the worst thing you could ever do, but Yun somehow felt a satisfaction with each gory death to the beasts; perhaps she felt a sense of revenge for the misery they had forced her into, perhaps it was an inner sadism which finally got to be satiated, or perhaps this was a sign of beasthood. Whatever the reason was, one thing stood clear; This had been the night which she had felt most alive and sensual in her life. Once dawn finally came, marking the end of the hunt, Yun sought the Healing Church to help her become a hunter, so that she could continue to revel in those feelings, feeling the pleasure of gashing beasts apart. But she never forgot her home, and sent all her wealth once she became a hunter, together with a simple note about her life away, and the hopes all was well at home. Mail returned to her, a prayer from her family that she found happiness at last, and with it came a gift; an old heirloom, a sword, to never forget who she was; A woman of the east with a warriors heart.
