The City state of Yharnam is a famous place for the people of the many nations and kingdoms of the world, especially for its most legendary ware, the Healing Blood. In an age were pestilence runs wild, many seek to find ways of reproducing the Healing Blood, from sermons and rituals to "purify" the blood by holy means, chemical and even alchemical experiments to recreate the healing essence of the blood, to mere spontaneous mixing of ingredients to make just something, out of desperation. One skilled doctor, a man named Ubert, with great knowledge of the healing arts and the nature of plagues, chose to leave his land and venture to the fabled city of blood, Yharnam, to seek the answers necessary to fabricate the Healing Blood. But soon after his arrival, he came to saw the dark side of the Healing Blood; The Scourge of Beasts. But instead of terrifying the poor outsider, he were entruiged, nay, thrilled by the beasts, and so chose to contact the healing church, so he could partake of the blood which made hunters, so that he could research the Scourge, the Beasts, the Blood, and maybe even help the Yharnamites with their plagues, as well as the world's. The mysterious Plague Doctor chose to take the form of the plague doctors of his country's past, to let his clothes remind him of the importance of his duty. He walks his rounds within the city on the nights of the hunt, to research the chaos, form order out of the bloodshed, and bring a helping hand, as by his oath, to those in need of a doctor.
