Use a Fire and a Bolt version of the saw cleaver (Radial Fire gems from lower pthumeru chalice, Waning Fire gem from loran chalice; Radial Lightning gems from mages in fishling hamlet, Waning lightning gem from loran silverbeast in lower Loran Chalice) Not too hard to obtain, and remember to use fire against beasts and lightning against kin... I use executioner's gauntlets, augur of ebrietas and beast's roar. You can replace the flamesprayer with a rosmarinus when necessary.
