The Chalice Guardian Hunter was originally a one of many Tomb Prospector sent into the labyrinth on a fools errand to find the source of the beast scourge. Little did she know the church was already aware the blood ministry was created the score with it's use of the old blood. Any Prospectors lucky or unlucky enough to return, with or without their sanity, a report to the church would only be furthering the church's research efforts either by finding the church a new source of the old blood(other than ebrietas) or the their madman's knowledge which can only be cultivated as a by product of the madness a prospector experiences. Whether by losing their way, losing their mind, or losing to the horrific creatures found in the labyrinth. The church would be able to further their research from the mad ramblings of the men and women willing to descend into the labyrinth. Little did the Chalice Guard Hunter know this nihilistic quest would lead them to a brand new purpose in life. By learning in no direct way, be it psychically, or through detective work, the secrets or Loran, Pthumeru, Izs, and Ihyll the chalice Guard Hunter realize a truth among truths to protect from the unworthy. What could it be? Stats are balance so as to allow the Hunter a fighting chance in any situation the Tomb Prospector may find themselves in. Do not make the mistake of relying on your strength, your skill, your smarts, and your heart unequally. None of these things alone can lead one to the truth.
