Sevris was orphaned at a young age, forcing him to be raised by the streets of Yharnam. He started off as a common street thief, mastering skills such as pick pocketing, stealth, and deceiving. As he grew older, the young man started taking on more sinister jobs, getting his hands dirty from the work that no other man had the lack of shame to do, killing. Sevris wasn't just any ordinary murderer, anybody could mindlessly take the life of another. Sevris made killing into an art form, a profession. His name soon came to be whispered in the shadows of Alley's and under dim lit street corners, rising to become Yharnham's finest assassin. Sevris usually did not partake in any business during the Night of the Hunts, but this one was a job he could not refuse. He underwent Blood Ministration and the Paleblood Transfusion in order to aid finding his target, a hunter. Sevris soon began to realize that the dream obscured the line between man and beast. If Sevris cannot find his target, he may be damned to walk this hellish nightmare and never wake up from the dream.
