The Once Faithful Knight was a loyal follower of Lord Gwyn he was one of the knights who fought against the demons in Izaleath. Lord gwyn rewarded this knight by charging him with responseability to guard the Firelink Shrines Fire Keeper. One day a knight by the name of lautrec came to the shrine and told the Once Faithful knight that a female cleric was being attacked in the catacombs, Once Faithful looked the fire keeper who motioned for him to go, when Once Faithful returned Lautrec was gone and the firekeeper was dead in a fit of rage Once Faith killed all of the undead in firelink and something called out to him stating if he collected enough humanity and killed Knight Lautrec he would be able to revive the fire keeper. In his search for humanity and Lautrec, Once Faithful found a serpeant by the name of Kaathe who said he would be able to help the knight save the fire keeper if he were to help usher in the age of darkness and kill the knight former lord in his lust to bring back the firekeeper Oncefaithful agreed and became a darkwraith. It took many years to collect enough humanity and track down Lautrec, and over the years the darkness had corrupted the Once Faithful Knights armor, shield and weapon. The darkness turned the knights weapon into a dark but powerful club that can no longer be recognized of its old form, his shield had some how started raising his ability to continue attacking, some say his determination was absorbed by the shield and his anger unleashed the power, and the darkness had mad his gauntlets deformed and gave him the ability to steal stoles from the living undead, the darkness had also deformed his boots making him able to carry more then he could before. The Once Faithful Knight was victorious on both resurrecting the firekeeper and destroying gwyn. With the age of darkness beginning the Once Faithful Knight is now the ruler of the humans and his queen is the firekeeper he once failed to protect and suceeded to resurrect.
