Pigmeyer was considered by many of his fellow knights of Catarina to be a rather unorthodox fellow. This was because unlike his large, onion-armor bound comrades, Pigmeyer (who may or may not have been very sensitive about his weight thanks to his name) preferred to mix the signature duds of the Elite Knights of Astora and the wanderers of foreign lands for a healthy mix of defense and mobility, preferring to outmaneuver his opponents rather than simply fighting through their feeble attempts at fighting back like his fellow onionbros, but still carrying enough armor to save him from an untimely death in case he screwed up.
