I titled this build the archmage due to the fact that it's centered around casting speed and it can use spells from all three categories of magicâ€â€miracles, pyromancy, and sorcery.
The Bellowing Dragon Crest Ring may be menu-switched for either the Hornet Ring, the Dark Woodgrain Ring, or the Red Tearstone if you're out of spells or if the opponent is using Great Magic Barrier or Strong Magic Shield.
The Dark Woodgrain Ring is for defensive play, the Hornet Ring for offensive play with >20% of your HP, and the Red Tearstone Ring for offensive play ≤20% of your HP.
The equipment has been optimized for damage, poise, and defense.
The main strategy is: Cast Pursuers, make your opponent trigger them as you back away (so he can't roll under them), cast Tranquil Walk of Peace, run up to him and spam Dark Bead.
The secondary strategy is backstab fishing.
