Notes from author
A lot of personal preferences in this build that allow for variation:
1. Wolf Ring: I like the extra poise to prevent getting stun-locked, but if you feel comfortable with 0 poise, Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring and Dark Wood Grain Ring are great alternatives.
2. Thief Mask: This was literally just for aesthetics (looks sick). Crown of Dusk is a better choice for extra dps without sacrificing fast roll.
3. This build was intended for PvP, but is also one of the strongest PvE builds in the game. You simply change around your spells to:
- Homing Crystal Soulmass
- Crystal Magic Weapon
- Crystal Soul Spear
- Power Within
(see below for PvE combo)
4. Logan's Catalyst: I prefer the extra casts in PvP. If you think you can get by without them, Tin Crystallization Catalyst or Manus' Catalyst are your best options (the latter options are better for PvE as well). Feel free to drop int to 32 if you want to use TCC and aren't planning on using Crystal Soul Spear.
5. Uchigatana: I main a dex pyro so this was a comfort choice. You could easily go with something else such as Moonlight Greatsword or Moonlight Butterflyhorn, though you may have to play with equipment to get fast roll.
PvE Boss Combo:
Crystal Magic Weapon --> Power Within --> Crystal Homing Soulmass --> Crystal Soulspear --> Wack it a few times.
If you have Crown of Dusk, Tin Catalyst, and Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, I would be shocked if the boss lives very long.
