Notes from author
Talmu is a Zenan pyromancer known for developing a stronger variant of Great Combustion (utilized by wearing the Crown of Dusk) at a young age. As a pyromancer, he showed promise in the area of making things catch on fire that normally could not- such as stone. On his twenty-seventh name day, Talmu left Zena, for his wife had been with another; Talmu, being a generally soft spoken man, did not scold his wife. He simply left: never to return, for the Darksign branded him the next day. Instead of turning himself in, he simply walked until he reached the land of the gods, where he came across Quelana. Quelana taught him what he couldn't know on his own, the use of primal pyromancies, before Talmu set out to kill the Four Kings. In his world, they were about to kill him again when Kaathe intervened and offered a deal. Talmu immediately took it, for the deal would promise that the pain would stop. All he had to do was kill Quelana.
So he did.
As a Darkwraith, Talmu haunts both Blighttown and Lost Izalith, the places where his mentor both lived and came from. In these worlds he sees her, alive and well, but a shadow to him. His grief is immense, but his loyalty unyielding. He wishes to make peace with Quelana, but will not fall from the path. He will kill Gwyn. Whether by bleeding him out by killing all the firekeepers or engaging in combat with the Lord of Cinder himself, Talmu has vowed to bring the age of Dark.
