I love strength builds. So much, that it took me quite a while to make this one, as I wanted it to be perfect. Here it goes:
Stats:
50 vitality, because a strength build is also a tank build
40 endurance. I didn't want to go past 40, as I had other points to distribute, and as you can see, it's not penalizing.
50 strength for obvious reasons
20 dex for Black Knight weapons AND greatbows. Gotta love dem greatbows.
12 attunement. Won't need more than that.
16 intelligence for Hidden Weapon and Dark Bead. HW is PERFECT for strength builds, as it throws people off. Dark Bead is only there to have some sort of damaging magic.
Weapons:
Any strength weapon you want.
Hand Axe as a secondary weapon. Does good damage, light and fast. The perfect light weapon for a strength build
Grass Crest Shield for the little stamina regen boost. See, strength weapons ask for a lot of stamina so you want that little boost.
Armor setup:
Hollow Thief's Hood for style
Wanderer Coat is pretty handy, as it's light and provides a good amount of defense
Elite Knight Gauntlets for both defense and poise
Same goes for the Havel's Leggings.
Rings:
Ring of Favor. You know why, come on.
Cloranthy ring, to help the shield. Some say it's useless, as you can swap it for other rings like the Hornet or the Red Tearstone. Our weapons will already do a shiton of damage, no need for that 30% crit boost or that 50% overall damage boost, really.
Tips: If you don't like Hidden Weapon (no idea why you wouldn't...), switch it for Great Magic Weapon if you REALLY want a buff.
If you happen to use a Dragon weapon, switch the Hand Axe for the Mail Breaker. Or add 3 points in endurance... But I like pretty, round numbers >.>
Don't forget the green blossom for ludicrous stamina regen. You'll basically never run out of it
Use the other items as well. They're all useful. Give dem firebombs a go. Do it
That's all for now and HOLY TITS THAT WAS LONG. Thank you if you actually read it all
