Standard dex/pyro with replenishment to be used as an opening buff. 35 poise cover the 2h katana poise breakpoint, allowing you to take a hit without flinching.
The Chaos Blade is arguably the best dex weapon in the game alongside the SKS, and is used here for it's great R1 attacks and incredibly small recovery time on attacks.
Running R1's can be used to bait enemies into Black Flame casts. You can also combo with your Kick into a normal R1 or a Black Flame (true combo).
Cast replenishment at the beginning of a fight for extended survivability.
