As much as I hate havelchildren, I'm starting to hate dark beaders more. So go and kill some of 'em for me.
This is a faith variant of my anti-mage melee fighter, I'm working on an intelligence based one right now.
I'm going to start with the drawbacks instead of the pros this time around.
First off, you're a havelchild.
And secondly, you need 50 strength in order to utilize havel's Greatshield, meaning you cannot parry without swapping to your bare fist, and you have to dump ten useless points into strength.
Thirdly, even with FAP and Havel's Ring, you have 49.9% equip burden... so yeah. 0.o
Pros are... the large club in general. The Roll attack on this thing is monstrous. Aaaaand... I've included sunlight blade for your gank-spanking pleasure. Don't get too carried away though.
Now, I would love to allocate 40 points into faith and use a more suitable talisman, but with Havel's GS, I need those points in STR. Anyway spells! ...I mean... uh... Miracles! Vow of Silence completely destroys all spell based builds, just remember to buff yourself first. Great magic barrier is completely hilarious to use against mages, because combined with havel's GS you'll be blocking like 99% of all magic damage with next to no stamina penalty.
About Sunlight Blade. There is a large portion of the PvP community who HATE weapon buffs, because the only real counter to them is to parry them or run away until it runs out. Im kind of on the fence with this argument, but if you think Sunlight Blade is out of place, just use WoG.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and lemme know if you can think of any way to improve this build in general, and if you enjoyed try the build and have fun, hit the little green arrow at the top so maybe others will be able to enjoy it too. Smash some heads for me, k?
