So... if you can make a chaos bow that fires fire arrows, can you make a magic one that fire moonlight ones to the same effect while still having stats for good scaling weapons? That was the real founding idea for this build.
Although the bow was going to be the primary weapon, as I was making this build, it kind of changed into some kind of antimage all-purpose-ranged build.
I'll start with the pros this time around. This build actually has 50+ poise and good defenses with 45 vit and the FaP ring, so you should be beefier than most other mages.
You're using logan's catalyst, so don't expect your spells to completely nuke down your enimies. There's no fun in instakilling your opponents anyway. Your spells should do respectable damage, however.
The main drawback I see is the fact that your weapons do split damage, with most of it being magical damage. Dedicated antimages (Great Magic Barrier etc) will give you a very hard time.
Even with 50 int a magic +10 composite bow will do more damage than an enchanted +5 one so make sure you upgrade correctly. On the offchance you DO run into someone with GMB just use poison arrows and RUN.
I had a few points left over, and decided to put 50 into int instead of 44 and hook yall up with white dragon breath. I have honestly never used this spell, but at least having 50 int helps with your BSS's scaling!
Thanks for reading this, and comment if you have any suggestions or improvements.
***EDIT***
I don't know why the previous version had 16 dex instead of 14. That was basically a waste of 2 points. Sue me.
