A continuation of my Dex build, this is a build with a primary focus on 1v1, and with slight modifications, Ganks, and PVE
It's primary function is to tear down defensive players by inflicting both Poison and Toxin effects. This inflicts a lot of damage by itself if left. However when opponents back away to heal it gives you an opportunity to punish with a backstab, or arrow This is extremely useful because most players can be poisoned or toxified extremely easily by mixing knives and arrows. The tracer itself is very underpowered, yet not to be underestimated, very few people expect to see the R1's and R2's of this weapon, making it surprisingly effective for a sort of, hit and retreat attack. The downside is that you will almost never be able to outdamage someone, so it really relies on the users ability to maneuver, and avoid damage.
In the offhand, I have equipped Priscilla's Dagger, and the Gold Tracer. This combination is my personal preference, as it can be used to inflict the bleed of the Dagger, with the godly buildup of the Tracer, usually one R1, and R2 will set you a little below, if not above. The bleed of the tracer is still gratifying. Using this effectively is extremely difficult to use effectively if at all, and requires an idea of certain bleed breakpoints. I'd suggest practicing on a friendly red phantom. The entire hand can be swapped out for a shield and pyromancy hand to make use of the mist pyromancy. Or another weapon set.
Because of the tracer it can be extremely useful in dealing with gankers, but it's low endurance means you do have to budget with equip burden.
The build's main downfall is its lack of options in extreme close range. Extremely aggressive play is capable of repeatedly punishing, and R1 spams usually result in much health being lost.
This build makes use of the tracer, bow, poison knives, and dung pies, in what I consider a unique way.
With that said, have fun playing as the
Dagger of the Valley
