Notes from author
Keep a variety of rings and weapons and try to be to observant of your enemies playstyle and tactics, and adjust the weapons and the ring (keep the FaP Ring on for the boost to stamina and vitality) accordingly. There is so much that could be said about the tactics you could use but I only really have a few: Always be observant of your stamina and how much stamina cost certain attacks take or take from blocking the enemies attacks and to try to conserve it as best as possible. The only real way to develop good tactics is to go out there and build from your own experiences, but also utilize the tools at your disposal to the best of your ability, each one of the items on the item bar has a integral part in your ability to defend against the enemies tactics but you need to ready and willing to change your playstyle to cater to what you are fighting which also means you need to get good at menu swapping (yes, it is possible to be good at menu swapping on PS3) but aside from those tips there is little else I can say which will help you aside from you developing your own tactics, and weapon choices. This build has proven its viability time and time again despite its major crippling factors and I hope to use this build myself to improve how I see and function in Dark Souls PvP , I, along with others, have started to extenuate the negative aspects of PvP as opposed to taking the wins and losses to heart and truly understanding what you did right or wrong in certain situations and instead resort to simply mocking, criticizing, and downplaying your opponents tactics and playstyle. But with this build you can start to develop a true sense of the tactical side of Dark Souls and start to become a better player because of it, I hope to improve as a player with this and if you would like to fight me my main PSN is Lord-Belial-CPOH and I am also quite active on Twitch.TV with the username Lordbelialcpoh so feel free to contact me with suggestions, criticisms, or anything really. :)
