Byakuro Yuki was a disciple of Artorias.
Through a mistake he somehow ended up in the undead asylum for three hundred years. Journeying to lordran to find his leader, he instead finds Dusk of Oolacile, who announces that Artorias has been corrupted by the abyss. He journeys to Oolacile and is forced to fight the now insane Artorias. He kills him and saves Oolacile from the Abyss. He then vowed that anybody who dare upset the grave of his noble leader would be ripped apart by the ruinous powers of the abyss itself. He joined the forest covenant and became a guardian of the graves, that nobody would ever touch Artorias or Ciaran's graves for as long as he unlives.
