This character embraces the eastern duelist combat style of katana based fighting. I would recommend acquiring ever katana so you can test them all out and find the one that works best for you. I also opted not to use a shield in favor of the dark hand. Not only does this fit the samurai style but also grants a nice 80% damage reduction on all attacks.
The wolf ring could also be switched out effectively with either cloranthy ring if one wants more stamina regen, or the leo ring if one wants to take advantage of some of the katanas' thrust attacks.
