I made this build because I'm sick of how mages are frown upon in areas such as the burg . All that because (mostly ) of Dark Bead spamming idiots .
As it is , the build has enough poise to withstand a greatsword swing (poise >53 ) , does high damage should a crystal souls spear hit ( requires good timing , since it's easy to dodge ) .
Same with the homing crystal soul mass where you need skill as to when to turn around and so on .
You'll notice there is one dark bead . I had to include it as it is the best short ranged spell in the game . The thing is you have only three of them , so you can't afford to spam ( and you're not supposed to either ) and any good player will roll-BS you if you dare try .
For weapons you have the moonlight greatsword , which is an amazing weapon ( brilliant special attacks , good stunlock and decent damage combined with great chip damage . ) . The other sword should be used with the crystal buff on , and ONLY against buff users ( because let's face it , a buff on a weapon leads to death in 3-4 hits at the most .)
