Primary advantages: 61 poise. Silver Knight Shield for high stability. Estoc for heavy damage, while withholding the ability to turtle if need be, and the Shotel as a back up for finishing off defensive opponents via the two-handed R2 attacks.
Build Dynamics: Can also be used with the Uchigatana or Iaito and ascended pyro flame in right hand. (replace one round of wrath of the gods with the pyromancy spell of your choice. i.e. Black Flame)
Looks can be deceiving. Though you are wearing a dingy robe and skirt, you are very capable of taking a hit without being stun-locked, which gives you the ability to set up a parry. Moderately high bleed resist without the use of the blood shield is another advantage.
