With magic resistances out the ass and a counter-magic miracle any caster who comes into close proximity will be met with a swift demise.
An occult Lucerne and occult Sunlight Straight Sword are both excellent weapons to keep in your inventory for different situations depending on where you see fit.
This is my personal favorite build and has served me more than well in my travels. If used correctly it can be a true angel of death for any who underestimate it.
Note: When using the Lucerne or Sunlight Straight Sword you will be reduced to a mid-roll capacity. Removing the helm however can fix this.
