Notes from author
This build will focus on not eating up hits, while also being able to harass and damage opponents.
-Shotels are an often overlooked valuable pvp item. Remember when you fought Lautrec and you turtled with a spear but he stuck his sword up your ass? I sure did. Then I found the shotel's specialty- being able to go through all those noob's Havels Greatshield.
-You NEED TO LEARN TO PARRY! This build will also focus on critical hits. Backstab fishing makes all the pain go away but what's the gain when he learns your trick and owns you with a Chaos Zweihander? Learning to parry can and will be hard. Practice on enemies like hollows and even NPCs like Petrus or hollowed Oscar. Also look up videos about the timing too.
-The Red Tearstone Ring is invaluable when you can use it right. Backstabs and ripostes become devastating to even people with super high health. But you need to use it right, so try not to backstab fish. Put some parries in there to put your opponent off guard. Don't be predictable.
*Also try parries on the Forest Hunter NPCs. Since they respawn, they make good training.
This build is more or less a veteran build. You need essential skills like being able to parry and to know when to roll away. If you want, try a parrying dagger to learn how to parry. Curved swords have a fast parry and can be easily adapted to once the parrying dagger is used effectively.
*If players have light armor on and don't have the wolf ring, go all out on them. YOu can quickly stun-lock combo them with the fast speed of the shotels. Be sure to make effective use of the green blossoms
So, go and own some Havel Greatshielding noob and, don't forget to have fun!
PEACE!
