Highly mobile build. The idea is to utilize the claw's unique rolling R1 to be a spazzy asshole.
1. Have divine or occult claws to switch to when SB runs out. Dealing chip damage through shields is a big part of the build. Resins work too but with your faith a divine-path weapon will just do more total damage.
2. The notched whip is extremely handy against parry fishers, since claws aren't very hard to counter with parries. As well, it seems to track much better in the off-hand, I've caught people in the vulnerable frames of rolls tons of times in the left hand when I would have whiffed in the right.
3. I don't use a shield for this, but feel free to sub in one and get rid of the whip if you find it isn't working for you. I'd use small leather as it is very low-weight with a good parry window and recovery.
4. The gauntlets give you a small increase in fist weapon damage for your claws. You'll have to take my word when I say it adds up. It's also funny as hell to roll into people who don't have poise in their build.
5. I like my egghead, but you can use the Mask of the Child for some stamina regen to stack with your dank kush, just sub in a lighter chestpiece like chain.
6. GMB is really, really good. Use it, if you can spare the cast time. It makes casters much more manageable, especially those who will corner you with a Pursuers combo.
7. I switch up my last attunement slot often, but right now I'm really liking Emit Force. Try using it unlocked, it's damn useful.
8. The total poise is okay but nowhere near what heavy armor would give you, don't expect to be able to take a greatsword to the face.
