In my experiences, this is the most effective Iron Tarkus cosplay build ive been able to come up with. Using the Leo ring in combo with the thrust attacks onthe great sword and offhand weapons War Pick or Pike, if the pike is used, either the shieldor bow can be switched out to Bloodshield or any appropriate at the time, ie, crest shield.
this build can take hits and is very good at one shotting players who activate the RTSR and then eat a 2 handed R2 counter as they swing at you and die, the heavy crossbow is very useful and can lure opponents into coming at you and if timed right you can land an r2 counter, or catch them with a quit jab with the MailBreaker It seems odd that the standard Greatsword is so underused... at least i dont see it used very often, it kicks ass from my discoveries especially withthe leo ring potential. maybe not a weapon for newcomers, but with timeand practice the Greatsword is an awesome weapon, and the Iron Tarkus setup overall is extremely fun to use.
