This build worked pretty well for my level 1 challenge, but be careful about the midroll. Started with a jagged ghost blade & grass crest instead of the battleaxe and hand, and full chain with havel's ring until I had the armor. I didn't use the crossbow at all until it was upgraded all the way, and I used combustion until Quelana showed up.
