Someone asked me what my favourite build for PvE was, so I thought I'd run a little showcase.
It's the ultimate melee Glass Cannon based around achieving stupidly high DPS. As you can see this build just cuts through even NG+7 bosses like butter. And given that most bosses have more than doubled their original health by this point, that's saying something.
It's based off a trick I only learnt recently, which would have been dead useful for my one shot boss challenge. You can use the Sanctus shield to completely counteract the effects of Power Within, meaning you can stay within Red Tearstone range indefinitely. This is because Power Within drains only a percentage of your health, so if you wear the Dusk Crown Ring and get cursed your health becomes so low that the HP drain becomes slightly slower than the Sanctus healing it.
