His father, a simple solider in the army during the fight against the hollows died in combat, while his mother was pregnant. When he was born he was always called the 'bastard of the burg' up until he was 20 or so.
He was a proud member of the church all his life, and believed heavily in the gods.
He has now taken up his fathers armor and sword, and is slaying all who he believes to be guilty of sin. Protecting the church he spent most of his life in, and avenging his fathers death.
