This is the build I like to use, it's well balanced and you can stun-lock enemies with the uchigatana, make sure that the uchigatana is plus 15 and your dexterity is at 40 for max damage output.
The reason for 24 strength is that I like to have a Lightning Zweihander+5 in reserve, just in case you come across gankers.
Don't be shy to use darkmoon blade or that charcoal pine resin to make your damage go further.
When you backstab/parry and riposte an opponent, switch to your pyromancy flame and use great combustion on them as they are getting up.
This build is not faith based!
Well, that's about it for this build, I wish you luck, now go pwn some noobs like the legend.
PS: if someone is fishing for a backstab, move in the same direction they are going and move towards them at a 45 degree angle (about this much) if you do it correctly, this will leave the back exposed and you can get a backstab out of it (or a lagstab as people call it).
