Even with base STR needed to wield this thing, it outdamages the 27/40 crutchmore by ~20 ar and has nice reach for the greatsword. It also gives the ability to use the second best miracle in the game and few funny int spells (chameleon/GMW), so those points in fai and int aren't completely wasted.
Really hate being locked out of second ring slot though.
