Marvello is a sorcerer and a trickster who dons the disguise of a travelling magician. He and his assistants travel through Lordran, lulling other undead into a false sense of security through their performances and Marvello's foppish, comical manner. However, Marvello is secretly a stone cold killer. He will often have a "private session", where he and his assistants perform the magic routine for a special guest, their target. When the guest guesses incorrectly or loses one of their games, Marvello's assistants will leap into action to murder the unaware onlooker. Marvello himself never lifts a hand against his target unless they have bested both of his assistans.
