So, I know people are probably sick of seeing builds with katanas and pyromancy, but in my defense I used a pyro/katana build long before it became a popular thing. This is a rework/update to my old build from pre-1.06 with no dwgr and no ridiculous pantslessness. I built it with a balance between performance and cosmetic in mind. The build is incredibly versatile as well. It has 54 poise which is enough to carry through a regular two-handed greatsword swing. In addition, if heavier weaponry is needed against a rather tanky build, the Bellowing Dragoncrest ring can be quickly swapped for Havel's Ring and the Iaito for the Zweihander. Furthermore, the Pyromancies chosen for this build were selected with combo potential and synergy in mind. For example: one can throw a Chaos Fireball down at the ground to prepare a "safe zone" to cast fire tempest with greatly lessened chance of interruption. Furthermore, should one encounter one of those damnable DWGR builds, the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring can be swapped to the Leo Ring and the Iaito can be swapped out for the Uchigatana for its thrusting heavy attacks to punish rolling R1 attacks for massive damage. (Timing is crucial for this to work.)
