Notes from author
Tactics:
1. Lingering Dragoncrest Ring while casting support spells.
2. Keep the aggro of your opponent by throwing spears at him when they run off.
3. Wrath of Gods is useful when your poise is about to be broken.
4. Keep the opponent off of your less endurable units.
Inventory Quickslots:
GREEN BLOSSOM: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as a tank, seeing as how you'll blow through your Endurance bar quite quickly.
MOSS CLUMPS: Can be changed out depending on the scenario of the fight, but I seem to run into more Poison/Toxin users than anything else nowadays.
REPAIR POWDER: Extremely useful if using Havel's Greatshield in your main hand for spec. Also suggested to keep your weapons in good repair. NOTE: It is not necessary to have when using the Dragon Tooth as in this build, seeing as how the Dragon Tooth has an infinite amount of durability.
HUMANITY: Used to heal during a fight. It is possible to crush multiple Humanity, provided you keep your guard up and block incoming attacks when your poise is nearly broken.
WHITE SIGN SOAPSTONE: Used for summons to another world. Can be swapped out before/during/after the summons. I personally would swap it out for Firebombs of some sort. Be sure to learn to throw them unlocked though, so you can protect your back.
GEAR:
Giants' Set has the best Physical Defence in the game. I, however, find it best to substitute the Giant Helmet with the Mask of the Mother, especially being in the role of the tank.
Rings: I prefer to use the Ring of Favour and Protection as an additional boost to my HP. I use the Cloranthy Ring because I tend to find myself short-handed on Endurance from time to time. I do, however, to mid-parry ring swaps, as well as the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring's swap to maximize my benefits.
Greatshield of Artorias: The Greatshield of Artorias can be swapped out for a medium shield if desired, but I find the blocking of status effects to much more use than I do parries and blocking.
