This is my personal original advanced set for skilled players only. It utilizes the most advanced and steep mechanics of Dark Soulsâ„¢ combat.
First is the stats. It's perfectly utilized for the use of the Claymore and the Estoc, two of the most used professional meta weapons in the game. They're spread around with the thought of dealing a lot of damage while being able to survive blows, too.
27/40 is a unique stat spread that you'll probably only find on this character. What most people don't know, even professionals, is that two handing with 27 strength gives you as much damage as if you had 40 strength. 40 dexterity is to maximizing the damage of the Claymore as well as boost the Estoc damage.
Armor is specially chosen for the deep meta players. Armor of Thorns can effectively cancel out backstabs by simply rolling towards one another. It also looks very stylish in terms of its dark and depressing design, perfectly fitting of a dark lord such as yourself.
Rings are rather predictable, however. The standard Ring of Protection and Favor and Wolf Ring set is widely used in many professional builds for obvious reasons.
Now for playstyle. I expect anyone who's utilizing such a powerful and skilled build as this to have a lot of PvP experience. You'll be mostly having your Claymore out when playing.
What you want do is to play powerful mind tricks with your enemy. Trick them into an attack, then roll into them (canceling a counter backstab) and backstab them just where the backstab hit box is. Then you want to run into them while they're standing up, and attempt on another backstab.
The Estoc plays a role in this build too. Should you ever get low on health points, then switch your Wolf Ring to Red Tearstone Ring and stay behind your shield to do powerful counterhits.
That should help you in your journey to become the very best Dark Soulsâ„¢ meta player there is.
If you use a set like this, go fuck yourself. Jesus christ you're a horrible person.
