use your roar and fire to your advantage as you roll around. the rolling R1 of a greatsword and the R2 are really scary when you get a counter.
I love the moveset of the silver knight spear, but a halberd or some other leo weapon works fine.
feel free to use the dark hand or some other light shield if you prefer.
black flame is a fast poise buster and poison mist is for approaches.
