The reason i went with silver knight leggings and arms is to break 40 poise. his leggings and arms look like corroded versions of the silver armor anyway.
you can switch to a wolf ring and the cleansing shield if you want to sacrifice mobility.
replenishment helps cover your adequate HP and emit force is just damn useful. you can throw it at the ground to do as an antipersonel spell. you could also use dark orb or dark bead on an Oolicile Ivory Catalyst if you wanted, but i prefer the miracles.
