Notes from author
With the townsfolk of Illuschor under constant threat from the Giant Boar from the swampy plains. Gragnor took his trusted sword that his father (a blacksmith with the old ways of everlasting fire) had made him and left the encampment to kill the beast. So that his town, friends and family could live in peace once more.
After days of travelling he got to the Giant Boars cave where he found the beast sleeping. With one mighty thrust he attempted to pierce the Boars skull but failed due to its almighty iron head. The boar awoke and threw Gragnor out of the cave with his tusks.
In trouble and after a grueling fight, Gragnor was well aware that with one broken arm and not much left to give, that his end was near. The boar knew this and with charged to deliver the final blow.
Gragnor breathed in and accepted his fate. He thought of his family and the life he would leave behind.
This gave him courage...
This gave him strength.
He grasped a tree with his one good hand, and then pulled, the boar charging towards him. He couldn't get enough purchase, he tried harder, the veins now appearing to pop out of his neck. He knows there's no other way, he grasps the tree with his second, broken arm also.
The boar almost near, until he feels the tree give way, the boar breathing distance away now.
The tree pulled from its roots gives way to Gragnors power, with the same motion he swings the mighty oak in a full circle, breaking the boars neck in one. A head as a trophy and Helmet, a tree as a weapon and tale. Gragnor returns home victorious.
