The trick to this build is the buffs and the stuns, when you first start the match you should buff with the havel's shield buff and green blossom and use your dragon roar as much as you want because it not only boosts your strength but it hides your havel buff from your opponent and stuns them, then the best way to use the dragon great sword is to use it unlocked and try to dead angle them and use the two handed heavy attack if they try to keep their distance and bust out that shotel whenever they try to turtle or if you just want to go for some duel wielding and try to save your pyromancy for later in the fight maybe after the red tearstone has activated for a nasty surprise. If you don't like the dragon great sword then pretty much any weapon with strength scaling works well and if it's light enough you can switch out the havel's ring for whatever you want but I would recommend switching the pyromancy flame for a bow or something ranged.
