One of my personal builds, takes advantage of all of the elements used against the Ancient Dragons, Lightning, Poison, Fire and Magic.
Healthy Poise, HP and SP, this build is effective in all areas and will be hard to bring down.
If you dislike the usage of the claymore, I recommend using a dex weapon that can be used with 14 str and 40 dex.
Or a strength weapon in the same predicament.
