This is my general PVP/PVE build. It is a pretty basic quality build but I've found it to be quite effective.
**Armor Set**
-The armor set gives a decent amount of defense with a really good amount of poise at 61, taking two hits from 2H curved swords and at least one hit from anything other than a 2H Greataxe/Great Hammer/Ultra Greatsword without staggering.
The Helm of Favor can be swapped out for the Elite Knight Helmet for better armor or the Gargoyle Helmet for less weight. I chose this helm over the E.K. Helmet purely for my namesake and cosmetic reasons.
**Weapon Set**
-Claymore for general attacking, strong enough to stagger easily and fast enough to stunlock with a great moveset.
-Small Shield for the faster parry recovery speed and light weight.
-Shotel for turtles and faster melee attacks. Generally used as a finisher.
-Composite Bow for quick shots at range and Sorcerers/Pyromancers
This can be tweaked for a bit of variety.
A variation I also enjoy using is swapping the Elite Knight Gauntlets to Knight Gauntlets and taking a Whip in place of the Composite Bow.
I sometimes also change out the Shotel for a Rapier and take a Notched Whip instead.
