Notes from author
An astounding warrior, Jonah was a prodigy to all of his masters. Learning not only how to fight, but to survive. To protect those he loved from harm and to defeat those who use their own skills against those with none. But alas, no story in the Dark Souls universe ever has a happy ending. He was struck with the Darksign. As all who are, he was banished. Left to the clerics of Thorolund, he was imprisoned in the Undead Asylum. Of course the badass that he is, it took him no time at all to escape. He came across the Prophecy of the Undead and made it his new mission. He made it to the Duke's Archives and found the Broken Pendant. Curious about it's origin, he asked a fellow adventurer, and lover of curiosities, Domhnall about it's provenance. He said that he had no clue. Keeping it because of course "pleasant memories are crucial to survival on arduous journeys." He eventually defeated the Hydra in Darkroot Basin. Making his way across the water he sees something in the distance. A sort of shine. Of course, he investigates. Seeing it as a Crystal Golem he defeats it. Someone was trapped within the Golem. Dusk of Oolacile. She thanked Jonah for her rescue and offered her sorcery. As Jonah was about to answer, a rift in the air, black as night appeared. A shadowy limbappears and drags Jonah through. He awoke in the Sanctuary Garden. Easily battling and defeating the Sanctuary Guardian he made his way through Oolacile. He found himslef in the Chasm of the Abyss. Tragically and heroically fighting his way through the Humanity Phantoms, he was finally overcome by the phantoms, he died. Being undead, he resurrected. But losing his will after trying time and time again to get through the phantoms. He went hollow and his decrepit form still haunts the Chasm. Searching for a purpose. Be that killing other Undead, or the phantoms that he could never completely wipe out.
