Notes from author
I wanted to make use of the Dragon body with a strength weapon, the goal is entirely planned to create situations to land the Dragon King Greataxe two handed heavy attack explosion.
I would like to keep this build between SL120-130.
The combo that I attempt to use is Wrath of the Gods - dead angled or not - into the R2 and pray. I have seen damage range from between 1200-1500 for the R2, in most cases the other player is left with barely any health left - that's not good enough, I want it to kill.
The problem comes in figuring out how to get the extra damage. The Dragon King Greataxe does not scale.
I still cannot decide if Darkmoon Blade is worth it. If Dragon covenant +3, the Roar gives 30% bonus damage as opposed to 25% and I could use Sunlight Blade instead. However, I feel the damage will end up being near similar and merely just shifting blame.
This build does not survive. If I miss my combo I die. No poise is the direct weakness of the Dragon Body which is usually countered by using a fast weapon or a long weapon - the Dragon King Greataxe is none of those. If you wanted to address this and make this build able to survive, if at all possible, be my guest but I do not think it's possible. I am willing to sacrifice the Dragon Body for armor if you can reasonably find a way to make it happen that doesn't decrease damage significantly.
I switch between Hornet, DWGR, and Wolf based on what my opponent is using. I feel the FAP ring is absolutely required for this build but if you feel another ring selection would make it work, change it.
I am not a fan of Power Within. It completely goes against my mentality as a player but I need the damage and I see no way to gain the damage otherwise.
Recap:
-SL120-130
-Dragon King Greataxe a must
-Goal is to maximize the damage of the two handed heavy attack
-If unable to increase the damage, increase survivability or utility
