This was one of my first builds for the DLC, and I have to say that it's pretty amazing, and definitely a build I'd recommend to anyone who wants to get into PvP.
The 45 Dexterity allows for the fastest cast time which catches even the best players off-guard and makes them uncomfortable with your Dark Bead spell.
The build's damage output is devastating, whether you chip away at your opponent for 300 - 500 damage per hit with your buffed Side Sword quickly decimating any low-poise build, or using Pursuers and Dark Bead works as heavy alterity against players with more poise, you're not going to have a hard time with even the most experienced players. However, the mastering simultaneous use will definitely make you a force to be reckoned for builds of any level.
The armor set-up is quite simple. It's light, and gives you 56 poise allowing you to take even the Greatswords running attack without flinching. The Gauntlet of Thorns also serves the additional purpose of dealing phantom damage preventing people from backstab you while you're rolling. This feature is invaluable while fighting gankers or backstab-fishers.
The low Endurance is no issue at all considering the weapon this build is using and the Stamina boost from the RoFAP, which also proves that if you can manage your stamina properly you don't need obsessive amounts of Endurance.
When low on spells you might want to switch out the Tin Crystallization Catalyst for either the Sorcerer's Catalyst / Beatrice's Catalyst / Izalith Catalyst, that way you can get an additional casting of Pursuers and Crystal Magic Weapon each.
This build works just as well for invasions as it does in the arena, as the general strategy in the latter is to get around 3 kills before dying and recharging its spells, although it could last for the entire 3 minute fight since you'll get up to 2 CMW which can be augmented with Charcole / Pine Resin.
