Karmic justice is to represent the large aoe attack which occurs if you stick to the kings for too long. As for the other miracles, it's to represent their magical attacks.
The weapons used by the 4 kings look like scythes, and as darkwraiths, they are enemies to the gods. Coincidentally, Priscilla's life hunt scythe was feared by the gods too, so it just seemed fitting to be used as the main weapon.
The dark hand is for the grab and humanity drain, which is self explanatory
