I really wanted to make a successful Sorcerer that also worked in PvP, but without using the usual Dark Magic. So it ends up as long as you use your sorcery as you would a bow, like an additional way you can attack people, you usually are fit pretty well.
Weapons I recommend
Moonlight Butterfly Horn, Moonlight Greatsword, Velka's rapier or Enchanted Scythe also it works fairly well with an enchanted claymore.
So whichever weapon you like the moveset of really those are just my personal recommendations.
P.S. if you use a weapon that is 6.0 in weight you can't keep the bow on, and anything above that causes a midroll as well
