Ever wanted to fight as everyone's favorite boss? Now you can!
Strategy: Cast Iron Flesh. Spam Fire Tempest. Use your big sweeping L2 and R2 to knock people around. Only ever use your R1's if you have charcoal pine resin applied (gotta stay authentic!). Ideally, fight in an arena with a bunch of bullshit bottomless pits you can knock people into. Or a place with a bunch of deadly lava, like, say, Lost Izalith!
Don't get backstabbed. Use those stupid sweeping attacks and flail around spastically unlocked. DEAD ANGLES, BRO. And don't get parried either. DEAD ANGLES. Knock someone down with a sweeping attack? FIRE TEMPEST! Knock someone down with a Fire Tempest? SOUNDS LIKE A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO FIRE TEMPEST. (Or mix it up with Chaos Storm. Mind games!) You have a Leather Shield if you really need to block, but why are you blocking? You have 379 physical defense, 123 poise, and you should have Iron Flesh up at all times. Couldn't that time be better spent, say, casting Fire Tempest? I think we both know the answer to that one.
