Purely for looks and for fun. The way I use it, is to usually make it a point to get in at least 1 hit with all 3 weapons, yes including the left-handed Darksword, and parry/block with the Dark Hand as needed. A good build, if you're able to use the weapons the way they're set up effectively, or in general.
