Just a build I created as my first 'Heavy' build to go through the game with, most certainly not the best build however I think it's not too bad for a first attempt.
The build as shown here is more for PvP rather that PvE, so adjust to your preferences if you wish to use it for PvE.
The quick slot items shouldn't really need descriptions but here you go anyway:
Humanity - For healing during an invasion if you happen to be against a non-educated swine who knows not the etiquette required when dueling.
CPR - For applying to your weapon (I know right who knew) when you feel the opponent is not going to be turtling behind a shield a lot or if you think you can break their guard easy for a nice bit of bonus damage, replace with Gold Pine Resin if you wish.
RPS - For dealing with those people who are going to turtle a lot, also useful for panicking players as when they get poisoned or begin to see the build up they may panic and make mistakes etc.
Green Blossom - For stamina regen, dummy.
Red Eye Orb - For spreading love to neighboring worlds as you see fit.
Of course, change the items if you want but these are the ones I use. I would only recommend using the greatshield buff if you are going to be two-handing for most of the battle, or if you can be bothered repairing after every fight, whenever you want.
Giants armour for defense bro.
Ring of FaP for the general boost of everything you get, combine with Havel's Ring for mid roll, if you're fine with fat rolling feel free to swap out Havel's.
