A few notes, first the eagle great-shield is there for Estoc pokes and for its light weight and stability. The Chaos Blade is there for bleeding, just use a green blossom and show no mercy. Pyromancy is for dealing against gankers, if they group up on you use Fire Tempest to get everyone surrounding you hit by fire, if they are close together use Great Fireball, and Black Flame for one at a time or just kill a single guy is really pissing you off :) Switch the ring of fog for the invasion ring and then equip the ring of fog or what ever ring you want to use. I recommend the wolf ring because your poise is at 55. Now I know that sounds like a lot, but when faced with the weapons in the forest, you're going to want some more. Power Within should be used at all times as it is very useful and you have humanity if you mess up Power Within, so you've got everything you need to show the forest who's boss!
