Ok, I don't have the back story fleshed out so I'll just tell you how to use this build. You have to keep your opponent guessing. By having a shield in your right hand and a spear in your left you already have them both confused and over confident in their ability to out maneuver you. However two handing this shield provides a variety of moves and situations most people aren't prepared to counter. Speaking of counter, feel free to switch the catalyst for a parrying dagger, combined with the bandit's knife you will have some build bleed up on the riposte as well as heavy damage. If you do this right nobody will know what the hell you're going to do next. Left hand poke? Two hand shield? Cast magic? Riposte? And for gods' sakes, look at how you're dressed. Try not to roll all the time, because your fast rolls will totally catch people off guard and sneak in some thorns damage. Have fun being both absurd, and obnoxious.
