First Pyromancy Flame can be obtained by rescuing Laurentius of the Great Swamp from the Depths. Second from Eingyi after spoken to him while infected with egghead. Note that you mast have 12 points in Int to get it. In any boss fight first cast Power Within with non-upgraded pyro flame and then use you ascended +5 pyro flame to cast attack spells or just smash boss with sword. Claymore +15 and Ring of Favor and Protection is a must! Best bow is Black Bow of Pharis. In middle of the game Elite Knight Helm can be changed on Royal Helm.

1 Scimitar
2 Longsword
3 Drake sword
4 Black Knight Sword or Claymore +5 if not droped from Black Knight in Northern Undead Asylum 2nd visit
5 Claymore +10
6 Claymore +15
Use Silver Knight Spear +5 to clear Catacombs. Twinkling Titanite can be easy farm in Crystal Cave for +5 upgrade.

1 Leather Shield
2 Wooden Shield
3 Hollow Soldier Shield
4 Crest Shield
5 Grass Crest Shield
6 Grass Crest Shield +10
Good overall shields: Silver Knight Shield +5, Black Knight Shield, Spider Shield, Bloodshield, Eagle Shield.
Master key is useless gift.
Lure it then kill it.
Kill Wyvern on the bridge.
Use two-handed weapon rage mod with Grass Crest Shield on your back when fighting bosses.
Kill Lautrec of Carim after defeating Gorguels. Just do it!
Dark souls is not hardcore, but after all is funny game. Anyone can beat it.
